DIY Painted Necklace

It was really fun Sunday Afternoon! I joined a Do It Your Self Painted Necklace workshop with Helmy Hazairin a.k.a Kumi. Thanks a lot for Sharee to carried that event. Sharee is a community for a youth sharing knowledge. Various knowedge shared in this community, usually within a month they make some classes with different time. You can see the next classes schedule in their website or twitter @LetSharee . I can't wait to meet another teacher and another class. Especially about fashion and art.

In that day I made these Painted Necklace. Kumi teach me a lot, he's really creative, thanks Kumi it's very nice to meet you. Here I tell you how to make it, based on Kumi was teached :)

First you need:
1. thin wood or thick duplex, cut it into triangle shape or any shape you like.
2. Acrylic paint
3. Colorful rope or a chain for necklace
4. pencil
5. Small brush for painting
6. Clear Pylox
7. Imagination

Second just draw and paint upon the wood. After that, dry it in the sun. And than, spray with clear pylox. Made a little tiny hole with little but sharp scissors. Last but not least, put the chain or rope in that hole.

I always want to have some accesories or anything with Galaxy pattern. So I made these:D
